We're Expecting a Baby in August!

Now you know why I haven't blogged in over a month! I've been sick!!!
Okay, this is how we told those closest to us. First, I took my first pregnancy test on Dec. 4, 2008. The "+" was so faint, if I was
pregnant, I was barely pregnant. So, we didn't know what to believe.



The next evening I went to a Christmas dinner with my two friends, Melinda and Audrey. They had been praying for me to get pregnant, so they asked me that evening if I was. My answer was, "I don't know!" That's when Audrey said she had an extra pregnancy test and wanted me to use it.

Here's the result we got! We wanted to wait a few weeks before we started telling people. The first 2 people we told were T.J.'s sister Andrea and her husband Jason. They were happy for us.

Then we traveled to San Antonio December 23, to take in a Spurs game and hang out with our dear friends the Garred's and Peterson's. That's when we told them, but they had to keep it on the down-low because we were waiting to tell the parent's and my sister's family on Christmas day.

Here's a picture of T.J.'s parents, my parents, and my grandmother Jane right after we told them that I was pregnant. They were thrilled as well!

I'm feeling better now that I'm 12 weeks along, so hopefully I can get back into blogging. : )
