Christmas is Upon Us

Keegan and I worked on a project this morning out in the backyard from 8:30-9:00am before church. Can you guess what we did? We lined the stepping stones with Christmas lights so that we can see the steps at night. Let me back up a moment. If you haven't been to Garden Ridge this week, let me be the first to tell you that they have ALL of their Christmas stuff out and for sale. This was super exciting to Keegan. We spent one hour there on Friday morning just walking through the Christmas stuff. I basically followed Keegan around while he inspected all of the different strands of lights and danced to the "singing Christmas trees". The one thing he asked for was a package of "stakes". As you can see from the picture above, the C9 bulbs are neatly attached to his new stakes and now they line the stepping stones in our backyard. (I even had to water the ground this morning before we put the stakes in since we didn't get any rain from the hurricane.) But, after I got the ground nice & soft, the stakes slid right in and we were able to decorate. If you would like for Keegan to help you with your Christmas decorations this year, please let us know. He would be happy to at least put your lights up for you. : )
