Meet Abuelita! This is Abby's grandmother. She lives in Colombia, but is in Round Rock visiting her family. Keegan has enjoyed getting to know her while she's been here. I have too! : ) We had the Buritica family over for dinner Sunday night. That's when this pictures was taken.

After dinner, we went over to a friend's house, who happens to be out of town, to rescue their dog that got out of their backyard. In Keegan's words, "I wasn't even interested in the dog. I was interested in the lights and ceiling fans. Mommy was holding me and the dog jumped up and bit the back of my leg." Yes, it's true. Keegan got bit by the dog and here's the picture to show you. He's doing really good now.

Monday: Keegan has been biting on his fingers and fingernails a lot lately. We asked him why he chews on his fingers so much and he said, "I like the taste of skin & fingernails." But, he couldn't tell us what "skin & fingernails" tasted like exactly. Keegan also used the phrase, "unfortunate habit" in a sentence on Monday and it just cracked me up. What will he say next?
Keegan got to spend some time with Miss Haley on Tuesday night while T.J. and I went out to see the movie, "Fireproof" with the Terry and Buritica families. It was a wonderful movie & we enjoyed spending some time with our dear friends.
Keegan has been asking if we can have some school time each day, so this is what we did today. I've been talking to him about shapes and Amber sent me this website that has all of these tracer worksheets you can print out at home from your computer. Keegan traced circles today and really enjoyed it. I LOVE doing structured activities with him and he seems to enjoy it too as he asks me if we can sit down and do some schoolwork. I hope he always initiates!

Josie LOVES "learning time" too. I found a great preschool curriculum book at Wal Mart that you can make copies of stuff and I've found some websites of coloring pages from the Bible. I think she goes through 15 pages every time we do it.
