I'm Behind on Blogging, so Let's Catch Up!

My grandfather, Coach, passed away last night. My sister, Mom, Dad & I all happened to be together when we got the call from my grandmother that he had stopped breathing. That was a blessing for us 4 & my dear friend Audrey, to be all be in the kitchen together when the call came. Us girls had gone out to dinner at Z Tejas to celebrate my birthday, which is today. We had just returned home, which is why we were all together. My grandmother seems relieved as the burden of watching him suffer is now gone.

T.J. took the day off today for my birthday. I'm thrilled! He's been planning a fun-filled, family day for over 6 weeks now. This couldn't have come at a better time considering the circumstances. Keegan is still sleeping and T.J.'s off to buy me breakfast. What a wonderful husband I have!

We may ride our new bikes today in Zilker Park. Yes, we purchased new bikes last week, our Father's Day & B-Day gifts, since bike riding is what we do to spend some quality time together. We rode to Papa & Nana's house over the weekend for our first ride on the new bikes and had a blast! Our bikes make the ride a lot easier and more fun!

On Sunday, I had the privilege of watching our 6 year old ring bearer, play his trumpet at FBC. Well, Thomas is 15 years old now, but his sweet, 6 year old face will always be burned in my mind. I hadn't seen Thomas since my wedding day, so it was a huge blessing to reconnect with him. His family lives out of state.

Enjoy the pictures that go with today's blog. Thanks for all of your thoughts & prayers regarding the loss of my grandfather.
