Keegan told me this morning that he was going to his room to play. I heard him shut his door, so I figured he was going to be working on something important. I gave him a few minutes. When I walked around the corner to his room, I noticed a red hue shining out from under his door. (See picture). It didn't concern me because if you know Keegan at all, you know that he LOVES lights! I opened his door slowly and he announced, "It's a carnival Mommy!" That's my son! He had decorated his room with Christmas lights and made it look like a carnival.

i just love this jayme! lights!!! they are amazing!
i love this story my mom told me on day at the old offices when keegan would come into the office and head staight for marks office and ask to take his lamp apart and of course mark would say YES with smiles. God spoke to me through this. it was a lesson that hit my heart hard and made me feel very convicted. how would i have reacted if maggie wanted to sit and take lamps apart. honestly at that time i would have told her she couldnt do it because i would think that is one more mess i will have to clean up. isn't that horrible. we are supposed to nuture our children. help them grow, learn and mature and at that time my way of thinking was selfish.
so thank you. little did i know that a lamp and your sweet boy would teach me a very important lesson that day.
blessings to you and your family!
