May I please go on a bike ride with you Daddy?

This is a question that Keegan asks T.J. daily. He loves riding on the back of T.J.'s bike. He talks to T.J. constantly about all of the things he sees along the way that are alongside the trail. It is a great way for them to spend quality time together. I go along for the ride occasionally, but the 2 boys hit the road almost daily. T.J. marks out the trail during the day and comes home with the map in his mind. We biked a trail in Wells Branch tonight that was a lot of fun. We loaded the bikes up on our new bike rack and drove to the park where we would begin riding.

Keegan's favorite ride is to Champion Park off of Brushy Creek Rd, also known as "The Whale Park" around our house. He wears his swimsuit on the ride so that he can go to play immediately in the water when he arrives at the park. This is quite a ride from our house, but the 2 boys don't mind. T.J. even has to cross Brushy Creek. Yes, he carries his bike through the water after he carries Keegan to the other side. They end up in the Oaklands and sometimes spot Mimi & G-Dad out in their yard along the way. Of course they have to stop in for some water and a quick chat before they are on their way again. It takes them about 45 min. to get to the park, but they enjoy every moment of it. I've made the long trek with them once & look forward to the next adventure we will have together on our bikes. I'll be sure to let you know about it!
